All of the sport’s team on campus have felt the wrath of this past week’s ever-changing weather. Many practices have been canceled or moved inside. For some teams, they’ve even had games postponed.

On Wednesday, September 11 the men’s soccer team was in their second half against Albertus Magnus College when the first lightening strike was spotted. The game was paused while everyone around waited the required 30 minutes to resume play. When the half hour was up and lightening was still present in the area, the game was called.

Falling to a similar fate was the women’s tennis team. During the Knight’s match against long-time friendly rival Bard on Thursday, September 12, the rain made an unwelcomed appearance. The team was only about 20 minutes into their match when both teams’ coach decided the courts were too slippery to continue play.

The women’s soccer team’s game against Bard on Wednesday was also canceled. None of the team’s make-ups have been re-scheduled yet.
