On November 2nd the Mount Saint Mary Boys’ Soccer team competed against Maritime College in the semi-finals to make it into the Sky Line Conference Championship. Unfortunately, their valiant efforts fell short in a 1 to nothing loss to Maritime, who went on to win the conference.

The Knights had a great season and finished 8-10-1 overall.

Junior Matt Pagano was named to the Skyline Conference second team.  Pagano started in all 19 games and tied for most goals at six with Sophomore Sean Lockwood.  One of Pagano’s six goals was an important game winning goal against the school’s rival Farmingdale State College.   Sophomore Brandon Mincher led the team in assists and had the second most goals at four, also including a game winning goal.

The Knights are hopeful for another great season next year, even with the loss of senior Matt Glaviano who will be graduating from the Mount this fall.
