With St. Patrick’s Day approaching, many traditional parades are taking place throughout the Hudson Valley. If you’re looking to get into St. Patrick’s Day spirit then these parades are for you, so come celebrate in the Hudson Valley in all the green you can wear!
St. Patrick’s Day Parade of Green in Beacon takes place March 11. Filled with the sense of community, family and friends, the parade includes floats, marching bands and more that will navigate down Main Street in Beacon starting at 11 a.m. The Beacon ELKS at 900 Wolcott Ave. will be open to the public with their famous corned beef sandwiches and live music.
The fifth annual RH St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Rock Hill on starts at 2 p.m. March 11. The parade features bagpipers, pipe and drum band, local fire departments, community marchers, antique cars, veterans and more.
Kingston’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place March 12 at 1 p.m. The parade steps off from the Kingston Plaza in the historic stockade area and goes throughout the city to the Roundout section.
St. Patrick’s Ramble Day Parade in Montgomery is March 18 at 1 p.m. This parade can be viewed from Union Avenue and Clinton Street.
Lastly, Jeffersonville St. Patrick’s Day Parade is March 18 at 1 p.m. The Jeffersonville Fire Department is well-known for an amazing St. Patrick’s Day event and will route marches down Main Street.
