Netflix released its newest true crime flick on Sept. 21, a retelling of the story of serial killer Jeffery Dahmer, titled “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.” The critically acclaimed series has sparked several conversations centering around its appropriateness. Nonetheless, there are many other people who believe the series was following its cinematography purpose, story telling. So what exactly is the effect of streaming services retelling the stories of serial killers, like Jeffrey Dahmer? I wanted to hear what a few others thought in our community to strike up this conversation.
