Picture this: You’re on a road trip with your friends and your stomach reminds you that it’s close to dinner time. Being in a new place, you have no idea where to go.  Look no further, there’s an app for that!

Powered by Yelp, the Yood app is the newest food app that is meant to make your search for something to eat a whole lot easier.

When opening the app, you are shown different categories to choose from, such as American, Chinese, Mexican, or Coffee Shop, which you can customize in lists that fit your own personal interests.

The next step is to choose the type of food you’re craving, and once that’s done the app will give you the address, rating, directions and phone number for that given establishment—it’s that easy! All it takes is one simple click to find the perfect place to get your fill!

The app that was created by Kevin Jonas, singer turned successful businessman, was downloaded 30,000 times within the first three days of its release.

According to starz.com, Jonas’ inspiration for the app came from his touring days.

“Whenever I was on the road, I always wanted to go somewhere new or see something exciting, but asking around was always a process. With this, in one touch of a button, you can find a little cafe down the street that you’ve never been to,” said Jonas.

The app is free, so whether you are in a brand new place, or want to explore where you already are, the Yood app is for you!
