Activities abound the Hudson Valley, even in the face of Covid. This March, if you’re looking for something to substitute St. Patrick’s Day plans or to get out of your home (or dorm), look no further.

With spring on the horizon and our snow boots packed away, you can now enjoy outdoor events like hiking. Catamount Mountain, in Hillsdale, is offering guided hikes every weekend through March. You can choose a 90-minute “beginner” hike or a 150-minute hike for avid hikers.

Motorcyclepedia Museum in Newburgh is hosting a Hudson Valley Farm and Flea Market on March 20. You can enjoy farm-fresh foods, jewelry, art, vintage collections and much more while relishing in the sound of local musicians. The Motorcyclepedia Museum is also hosting late night Thursdays throughout the month where you can check out unique bikes dating back to the ‘90s.

For the traditionalists out there, these three restaurants are offering corned beef and cabbage this St. Patrick’s Day for dine-in or take-out:

Fiddlers Green Pub, Carmel, NY

Riverview, Coldspring, NY

Kelly’s Corner, Brewster, NY

Fishkill Paint and Sip studio offers in-studio events for those who are over 16. You can bring snacks to nibble on, however drinks are purchased in the studio. If you want the paint and sip experience without leaving the comfort of your room, they offer virtual events. Just reserve your spot online and pick up your supplies at their location. Feel free to grab a group of people and schedule a private event that everyone can enjoy.
